Over the past 50 years a new technique of teaching has been developed, thus enabling people with no previous experience in wood working to “make” their own quality furniture, while enjoying a very relaxing hobby.Specially designed patterns, kits and models are used for each piece of furniture. There are over 200 pieces to choose from. Variations of the standard kits are available through a design service offered by me.With this system, a pattern is traced onto each kit piece and with expert guidance from me, plus the use of supplied models to look at, I can guarantee an expert result from all who try. It enables people from all walks of life to carve their own unique piece of quality furniture.
I also offer the skills in marquetry, intarsia, sculpture and scroll sawing to those willing to try these forms of wood working.
